Science Day.

To celebrate Science Week, on Wednesday, the children took part in 4 different investigations in their house groups. They worked as a team to build the tallest paper tower, explored the properties of materials and which ones were magnetic, tested out invisible lemon juice ink and raced balloons discussing the motion and thrust.

The children thoroughly enjoyed asking lots of questions and getting stuck in to each investigation!

This was brilliant - Zachary really enjoyed the train and all the activities. Great to see a school trip here too. ☺️

On Monday, our Year 5 and 6 basketball team competed in the county final at Durrington High. This was
the first time that we had qualified for this event following our locality victory earlier in the term. Playing 6
games, the team won 2, drew 1 and lost 3 leading to a 6th place finish. Well done team!
