To further support pupils in their reading, we have created our own South Bersted Book Marks.
Each year, your child will be given a new bookmark, which focuses on the key skills that they will be developing. On the reverse of each of the bookmarks, there are key questions that can be used to develop these skills further.
It is expected that pupils will read daily and this will be recorded in a child’s reading record.
We are always looking for parental support in listening to pupils read. If you have the time and you would like to listen to our pupils read please speak to your child’s class teacher.
